Listened to a lot of feedback on the show I put out last night. Here is what I want to tell everyone:
I don’t really care about most things about my show. I don’t have any sacred cows about what you watched last night. We weren’t able to do it live so it was a prototype and of course it was missing the audience engagement. That was one format out of many options and moving parts.
Back in 2021 when I reached the top of crypto YouTube, what I built was the best out there in terms of engagement, numbers, production, fundamental analysis, and I believe I gave the best variety of information at the time.
Many years ago tho, I got bored with crypto YouTube. Great educators in this space. Great TA guys. Great information. But like any niche, there aren’t a lot who deliver this information in an entertaining my and/or engaging way. There was no one to really push me creatively. Which as a creator, this is where I thrive.
As I looked around YouTube, I realized it wasn’t just crypto… YouTube quality is so low it’s laughable when compared to television production.
At BitBoy Crypto 1.0, I received constant pushback for increasing quality. Because why? Today’s version of attention favors low effort and immediacy. You are financially incentivized to create inferior content for clicks.
I always built BitBoy Crypto for the long term tho. I didn’t care about the right now. I never did. That’s why I never slowed down content even when I was getting 75 views a video.
My vision for BitBoy Crypto has always been bigger than anyone else has ever seen. It will be the biggest media brand in crypto. Again. But it will rival the biggest networks one day. Maybe it’s 10 years from now. But this is where we are going.
So here is what is important to me:
My show is going to be live abd network quality. Period. But it will be a process.
Things that don’t matter:
- Format
- Co-hosts
- Guests
- Segments
Things that do matter:
- Production Quality
- Engagement
- Research
- Information
- Tone of the Show
- Tight time schedule
- Consistency
I get it. Many people don’t like change.
But this is my vision. And I know it’s the right one. Imagine if crypto YouTube has the most engaging, interactive, high quality show on all of YouTube? At a time when retail is interested.
As with everything I do, crypto adoption is the greater goal. We have to penetrate the mainstream. Media is how we do it. That’s what this show is built to do. And it’s going to work.
So just understand, BitBoy Crypto 1.0 peaked. It was intentionally stifled by Charlatans under my nose.
BitBoy Crypto 2.0 will be unbreakable. It will not be contained.
Talk about timing. I began the livestream 2 weeks after Bitcoin hit an all time high in 2021. BitBoy Crypto 2.0 launches 2 weeks after BTC hit a new all time high. We are about to find the magic again.
