@JCChristopher FSD reacts in less than a second. Police officer definitely didn’t see him or wasn’t paying attention. So close to a catastrophe.
English

@JCChristopher In a world where human error still causes ~94% of crashes, FSD
Supervised is quietly becoming the biggest giver of do-overs on the road. Grateful every time I witness FSD preventing a life changing event. Most people do not even know FSD is a hero❤️
English

@JCChristopher More PDd need Teslas…they could write their reports while on FSD. I wonder if AI could train the cameras to check tags as the police vehicle cruises around…or maybe FSD could ‘lock on’ a target vehicle and follow safely…?😜
English

@JCChristopher Well, hate that, because those of us that try to bike ride safely get a bad name by those that disrespect the law and ride foolishly.
English

@JCChristopher Houston is not ideal for pedestrians and cyclists 😂
English

@JCChristopher While it saves your car from damage... This kind of behavior encourages others to bully Tesla's... IMO it should push the limit when it has the right of way and give him a scare, a honk, and play profanity on the speaker, then project a middle finger on the road.
English

@JCChristopher A little bit of latency, but still a very quick response.
English

the ability to predict and respond to a cyclist who ran a red light is one of the hardest edge cases for any autonomous driving system because it requires understanding that a road user is behaving unexpectedly and adjusting instantly, the fact that FSD caught this while a police officer nearly did not is a meaningful real world data point
