If you’re an Uber driver and your gut is telling you to cancel and drive away, don’t 2nd guess your gut. Just cancel and go. And apologies to all the ladies out there who I know have to deal with some crazy Uber drivers. But I would recommend not saying the “K word” to a male Uber driver before you even get into his car. Also, don’t put your purse on the Uber driver’s arm and start dropping the contents of your purse on him. And yes, Robotaxi fixes all of this. There you are Tesla bulls, are you happy 😂

@scotsrule08 Yes exactly! I'm just wondering if the process now is to add a handful then observe for 2-3 days, then rinse/repeat? Or is there a point where they just unleash the hounds. Will be interesting to watch!

@JCChristopher Same in Dallas earlier today. It was clear they had at least a few cars running whereas previously only one or two cars were ever going at the same time

@JCChristopher They aren’t even ashamed of blatantly offering to keep your money. And they tell you “Recommended. All the other kids are doing it”

Tesla’s Unsupervised Model Y Robotaxis are now operating at night in Austin! Also worth noting: today set a new high for new Unsupervised vehicle sightings, with 7 new Unsupervised Model Ys spotted across Dallas, Houston, and Austin. Tesla continues to only operate Unsupervised vehicles in Dallas (5) and Houston (6).

Tesla Robotaxi in Austin is operating unsupervised in the evenings for the first time today. Previously in Austin, unsupervised operation ended mid-afternoon

I was just remarking last night that even with the big expansion that happened about 2-3 days ago, how long before Tesla bulls start complaining again about no expansions. Looks like Tesla knows this as well and does something every 2-3 days maybe. So set your notifications for Tue/Wed😂

Yes, that makes the most sense as both areas are right next to the existing geofence (so presumably the MYs not yet badged go into those areas routinely and easily for testing), and the areas are pretty similar to the existing geofence. The only area of Houston that is different is the inner loop (downtown/midtown/Montrose/Museum District).

@JCChristopher Awesome! Does Groks analysis make sense to someone like you who is more familiar with the area?

@OverlyTrev Based on my discussions with Grok (for whatever that is worth), the next expansions would likely be south to the Galleria area and west to the Energy Corridor. This would definitely triple the size of the current geofence.

@JCChristopher Yeah those areas make more sense. Plus where my office is on 1960 there is a high probability a homeless person would end up living in a Robotaxi.
