Let me explain how grown-ups handle accountability since your press release clearly skipped that day. Democrats offered to fund TSA, the Coast Guard, FEMA, and CISA immediately. Senator Patty Murray literally put a bill on the floor to pay those agencies while negotiations continued over the parts of DHS your party refuses to reform. Republicans blocked it. Senator Katie Britt called it "defunding law enforcement" and killed the vote. Every TSA agent working without pay right now, every hour-long security line at airports across this country, that's on your party. Your leadership. Your refusal to accept basic accountability measures like requiring warrants for home arrests, visible ID so agents can't hide behind masks, and no raids in schools and churches where kids and families are trying to exist. And spare me the SAVE Act nonsense you keep tying to this. You're standing there claiming married women won't be affected while the Brennan Center and multiple voting rights organizations have documented that 21 million Americans lack ready access to proof of citizenship documents and 69 million married women have names that don't match their birth certificates . The Heritage Foundation, your own buddies, found exactly 24 cases of non-citizen voting in 20 years. Twenty-four. In two decades. You're holding the entire Department of Homeland Security hostage, forcing TSA workers to show up without paychecks, to solve a problem that doesn't exist while building a national purge machine so broken it's already being sued for flagging naturalized citizens as non-citizens years after they became American . You're fighting for the right to terrorize communities without oversight, and you're using TSA agents as human shields. Fund the damn department. Democrats already tried.
