More interesting than mortgages would be a @revnets that would allow a crowdfunding of a purchase of rental property and as the renter pays rent the renter gets a distribution of $tokens that would further incentivize that renter to improve that property (with permission) and rent the property out for a higher rent to increase the value of their rent $tokens. Maybe after a few years of this โvalue sharingโ that renter would be able to swap that value to become a home buyer. Pulling everyone out of this RE is too expensive sink hole.
