BREAKING: MAGA Senator Bernie Moreno attacks Pope Leo and says that he’s glad his Catholic mother is dead so she doesn’t have to experience this papacy. Republicans are officially the anti-Catholic party… “I was incensed to watch the Pope's comments. I think what the Pope is doing is a disgrace,” said Moreno. “It's a shame that the Pope has made the Catholic Church political. Thank God my mom’s not alive to watch that,” he added. Moreno, who himself claims to be Catholic, is signaling his fealty to the MAGA cult leader with this message. Trump has been relentlessly attacking Leo, smearing him as bad for the Church and “weak” all because he dares to condemn the illegal, child-murdering Iran War. The “disgrace” that Moreno is referring to is Leo suggesting that Trump shouldn’t mass murder innocent Iranians just because Israel asked him to. Opposing an immoral war is “political” in the sense that all things are, on some level, political. But Pope Leo isn’t being partisan. He’s being a Christian. Jesus wouldn’t have remained silent about the wholesale slaughter of civilians and so Leo has an obligation to speak out. He has boldly picked up that mantle. Moreno represents Ohio, which is home to roughly 2 million Catholics. When it comes time for reelection, they should show him the door! Please ❤️ and share if you stand with Leo the Lion!
