"Pete how do I find the best prospects?" There are so many stocks to choose from. I've made it as easy as I can for everyone. Use Option Stalker Pro and look for as many red dots and blue dots (volume).

Those of you who have been here a while have heard this story: We had a hard time getting orders executed one day and I asked, "What in the hell is going on?" The floor broker told me everyone was watching the game and they had a hard time getting the crowd to respond. I put on my jacket and went down to the floor to see for myself. Sure enough the basketball game was on the TV. The floor broker had an order. He barked out to get a market on some calls and no one responded. It was like he wasn't even there. This wasn't the OEX, that crowd was always busy. When it came to equity options they traded in much smaller crowds with a dozen market makers or so. BTW, when ever they would ask for a market, the market makers would respond. There was a quote reporter. They would type in the bid and the ask so the quote would update. That's how it worked. In busier crowds there were many quote reporters. Can you imagine what it was like during fast markets? Trading options back then was like a grab bag. You never truly knew the actual price where anything was trading until you got filled. My book is going to come out in the fall and there's a lot of stories like this one.

I would love to see a nice big drop here. That HARD LOW would set us up for a great bounce that could last a few weeks. If we get nice stacked green candles off that low, that's our opportunity.

When $SPY tests a major moving average, we want it to FLY OFF THAT LEVEL, like it touched and electric fence. We did not see that yesterday. This morning we are poking at it again. The headlines have been negative and the sentiment is BEARISH

Right now there's no momentum either way. The bearish trend day yesterday is when most of the triple witch "rolls" happened. Buyers and sellers are fairly balanced today. If you can find a stock with a heavy volume breakout/breakdown D1, that will set up a trade. Otherwise... keep looking.

Do you think $SPY will break the 200SMA today?

They are not snapping up this drop. We would have seen longer stacked candles and no overlap. We could keep inching higher, but this is not aggressive. Very tenuous. I would have preferred that we go lower first in a wimpy fashion and then fly off of the LOD. $SPY $QQQ
