RIP to one of the greatest to ever do it. A real freak, Ilium/Olympos duology maybe some of the most insane right-wing sci-fi nut shit I've ever read but boy was the worldbuilding amazing. Loved everything he ever wrote (that I read). a core memory: begging my dad to buy Ilium after reading the first few pages in a bookstore and reading most of it under my bed that night with a light since my little sister wouldn't follow me under there

I had them for the first time in a decade and it was beautiful. Also: I recently saw Late Night Taco at QuickTrip - There is hope for a national release once more.
