🚨DATA: CHAINLINK, AZTEC, DASH LEAD PRIVACY CRYPTO RANKINGS
Analytics firm @Santiment has ranked leading privacy-focused crypto projects by GitHub activity.
@Chainlink ( $LINK ) secured the top position in development activity. @aztecnetwork ( $AZTEC ) followed in second place. @Dashpay ( $DASH ) ranked third on the list.
Other projects like Zama and HOPR followed closely.
The ranking reflects active developer contributions across projects. Several projects showed shifts in positioning since the last update.

Anthropic dropped a blog post claiming AI can finally break the cost barrier to COBOL modernization, then the markets panicked 😂.
What many don't understand, is that these systems have been operating for DECADES, and don't change for a reason. Upgrading them involves multi-year programs,
billions in cost, regulatory re-approval and huge operational risk, so instead they build APIs and other things on top of the stack. This is why our traditional banking system is still slow and cumbersome.
AI and its current ability to understand and write code won't be changing this anytime soon. The COBOL mainframes aren't going anywhere.

Chainlink's Privacy solution will enable privacy across all chains, API queries,compliance checks, policy enforcement, identity and credential checks, and much more. Basically, *ALL* end to end workflows from offchain to onchain.
To do this, you need a protocol that sits on top of and across all chains, which is also connected to legacy financial networks and web2 APIs. Chainlink is the only protocol that does this.
If Chainlink enables ubiquitous privacy by default, then people won't be forced to own arbitrary assets simply because they have the property of privacy.
Instead, you can make the assets you *already own* on their own merits simply be privacy-enhanced.
While A16z thinks that a "handful of privacy chains can own most of crypto", they aren't considering an orchestration layer protocol that powers end to end privacy across *all chains.*
Now, simply having privacy is no longer a competitive moat since its so readily available, but imagine what a competitive moat it is for the protocol that's responsible for creating privacy for all of this value, users, and applications.
Think about the implications of that on the competitive landscape.
