RUTTE: Ukraine is doing better and better on battlefield. Putin is willing to sacrifice up to 35,000 of his own men a month, which is crazy. So, If you are young guy living in Russia and thinking of joining war effort, think again, because you’ll probably be one of those 35,000.

This is the President of the United States.
What he doesn't understand is that everything is connected. Even if you factor out the tragic loss of life, Russia invading a sovereign democracy and getting away with it tells China exactly how far it can go with Taiwan. And that would definitely affect us.
Burying your head in the sand isn't a foreign policy. It's an invitation for every adversary watching to test how far they can push.

“The look” is that Trump promised repeatedly during the campaign to “easily” end the war in 24 hours but he never had a plan and he doesn’t want to be shown evidence of his incompetence and failures. Plus he doesn’t like seeing Russian defeats.

Trump is insane. The US plans to return Russia's frozen assets once a peace agreement is signed, — Politico. The US has informed EU sanctions chief David O'Sullivan of its decision to return frozen Russian assets to Russia after a peace plan is finalized. Trump's plan: Russia destroys Ukraine, Europe has to pay for the reconstruction, and he does business with the Russians.

Trump: Well, that's what hurt my relationship with NATO because Greenland doesn't help Denmark. Denmark doesn't spend money to really help Greenland, but it's an important part for the United States, and it's surrounded by China ships and Russian ships…
That should be controlled by the United States, not by Denmark. And when they wouldn't go along with it and with all the money we spend to help them with Russia and we don't have to spend any money. We could remove all of our soldiers out of Europe.

@Acyn Trump wants to steal or invade Greenland so he can hand everything over to Putin and Russia. I'm 100% sure that did more to damage the NATO American relationship than whatever Trump is spewing here.
