🚨Obama's Iran deal cost American taxpayers ZERO. Trump tore it up and handed us a $300 billion bill, and handed Iran a weapon they didn't have before. With Obama’s deal, Iran got access to some of its own frozen money, with restrictions. Not one cent came from U.S. taxpayers. In return, Iran had to ship out 98% of its enriched uranium, cut its centrifuges sharply, and allow real IAEA inspectors in with serious access. Our European allies supported it. It wasn’t perfect, but it actually worked. Iran’s nuclear program was on a leash. Then Trump yanked the whole thing. He said it was a give away. What we got instead was an unauthorized war that’s already cost well over $150 billion, and by some estimates closer to $200–300 billion when you count the full economic damage, oil price spikes, and damage to military readiness. 13 American service members were killed, hundreds wounded. On top of the money and the lives lost, Trump's war gave Iran something they didn’t have before: proof. Proof that threatening or closing the Strait of Hormuz can send the global economy into panic. They saw how much damage even the threat of shutting it down caused. They wouldn’t have dared lean on that card so hard if we hadn’t gone in, killing their supreme leader, and becoming an existential threat to the regime. We didn’t weaken Iran. We educated them on their best leverage. You can argue all day about whether Obama’s deal was perfect. It wasn’t. But it cost us nothing upfront, had real inspections, and actually slowed Iran down. What Trump chose instead gave us a much bigger bill, dead and wounded American troops, and an Iran that now knows it can use the Strait of Hormuz as a weapon whenever it wants. The math is simple. One path cost us nothing and kept Iran in check. The other path cost us hundreds of billions, got Americans killed, and left Iran with more leverage than before. Trump called Obama's deal the giveaway. But Iran got much more from the war than they ever got from the deal. So which one was really the giveaway? nbcnews.com/politics/white… via @NBCNews

Take a moment to really look at this photo. 👇 That is the White House lawn. The People's House. Sacred ground that has stood for 226 years. Not destroyed by war. Not by disaster. But for one man's pleasure. We are 13 days away from our 250th birthday as a nation, and our president spent $14 million ripping out the Reflection Pool to build himself a swamp. Another $600 million turning the East Wing into rubble. Rose Garden destroyed. And $60 million for his own birthday party that tore up the lawn. 226 years it stood strong. This man destroyed it in a year and a half. One photo that screams exactly what he's done to this great nation.
