Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds hide me.
Never permit me to be parted from you.
From the evil Enemy defend me.
At the hour of my death call me.
And bid me come to you,
That with your saints I may praise you
For ever and ever.
Amen.

@30MinMinistries I try to! I love spreading the love and word of God, there are so many people that need it, and if only one person sees it then that’s okay.

Can I tell you one thing I've discovered in my walk with the Holy Spirit?
Beyond being a guide, the Holy Spirit is the greatest conversation partner you'll ever have.
In short, there is no gist partner like the Holy Spirit.
The day you grow to the point where He comes to you for a chat, demands your attention, or interrupts your day because He wants fellowship with you, YOU HAVE WON FOR LIFE.
Because beyond power, beyond gifts, beyond breakthroughs, nothing compares to being wanted by God Himself.

So I made a post about the Holy Spirit, being a great gist partner if you truly have a bonding with Him, and I got a lot of questions such as:
How do I get to that point?
I want this. Where do I start?
I hope I can experience this someday.
Now, here's your answer.
I sincerely understand that yearning because I had the same questions at a time too. But here's something I've learned: you don't arrive there by chasing experiences. You arrive there by building friendship.
Most of us meet the Holy Spirit only when we need something.
Help me.
Guide me.
Open doors.
Give me power.
And there's nothing wrong with that. But every relationship grows when conversation moves beyond requests.
Just like with a friend, intimacy is built in the ordinary moments.
1. Start with His Word
The Holy Spirit speaks, but He is not separated from Scripture. Many people are waiting for audible voices while neglecting the Bible.
Yet Jesus said:
"When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth..." (John 16:13)
And the truth He guides us into is revealed in God's Word.
Read slowly.
Meditate.
Ask questions.
Allow Him to teach you.
Sometimes fellowship isn't spectacular.
Sometimes it is simply one verse refusing to leave your heart all day.
2. Stop Making Prayer a Monologue
Prayer is not just talking to God. It is communion. After speaking,
remain.
Listen.
Reflect.
Worship.
Be quiet enough for your heart to become sensitive.
Many of us end prayers too quickly. We rush out before the fellowship begins.
3. Give Him Ordinary Moments
Not every encounter happens during a three-hour prayer meeting. Sometimes He interrupts your thoughts while you're working. Sometimes while driving. Sometimes while cooking. Sometimes through a burden to pray for someone.
Friendship grows when you stop limiting Him to "prayer time" and begin involving Him in everyday life.
4. Obey the Little Promptings
Sensitivity grows through obedience. When He nudges you to forgive, forgive.
When He asks you to pray, pray. When He convicts you, respond. The more you honour His whispers, the more familiar His voice becomes.
5. Desire Him More Than What He Gives
This is where many people stop.
We want power.
We want gifts.
We want breakthroughs.
But Moses prayed:
"If Your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here." (Exodus 33:15)
David prayed:
"Take not Your Holy Spirit from me." (Psalm 51:11)
Their greatest desire wasn't God's hand.
It was God Himself. And that changes everything.
And let me encourage anyone reading this:
You don't have to become a spiritual giant overnight. Nobody suddenly wakes up and becomes deeply intimate with the Holy Spirit.
Friendship is built.
One day of prayer.
One day of obedience.
One day of fellowship.
Then another. And another.
Until one day, you realize that you're no longer trying to include Him in your life. You have become conscious that He has included you in His. And honestly, I believe that is one of the greatest victories a believer can ever experience. Not merely knowing that you want God, but discovering that God delights in your company too.
"Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ." 1 John 1:3
Because at the end of it all, the highest reward of walking with God is not power.
It is partnership.
Not gifts.
But friendship.
Not merely hearing from Him occasionally but living daily with the awareness that the Holy Spirit enjoys being with you.
