@TheresaArueyin1 Temptation never originates from God. God does not lure anyone into sin, He strengthens them to resist it. The moment we stop blaming God, we start growing in accountability and spiritual maturity.

This is true. We really need to understand that not every interruption is confusion. Some interruptions are God refusing to let your life continue in a direction that contradicts His purpose. Sometimes God does not wait for alignment to be requested; He enforces it through interruption. The challenge is discernment, whether what feels like disruption is actually divine redirection.

Some of them don't know that submission is not triggered by desire. It is not a preference you request. It is a response to proven character. A woman does not submit to words, titles, or expectations. She responds to responsibility, stability, and self-control lived consistently over time. Unfortunately, many want influence, but few are willing to become trustworthy enough for it.

It’s easy to want a submissive woman. The real question is: are you a man that can be submitted to? What do you bring to the table besides demands?

Many people don't realize that emotional connection is not enough if spiritual direction is missing. When your values don’t align, love starts to feel like pressure instead of peace. That is why you need to choose alignment over attraction, or you’ll spend the relationship fighting your own convictions.

Life is frighteningly fragile. One moment someone is full of plans, dreams, appearances, and energy… the next moment, everything becomes a memory. This is why you should live well, love deeply, forgive quickly, and stop postponing the life that truly matters. At the end of the day, life is not measured by how long we lived, but by how well we lived.

A society offended by John 3:16 should concern everyone. The scary part is not just the conviction of a 78-year-old preacher, it is how easily the gospel can now be treated as a public offense. Today it is a sermon outside a hospital. Tomorrow, what else becomes “too dangerous” to say publicly? The moment truth needs culture's permission to speak, freedom of speech is already dying.

#BREAKING: Northern Ireland court convicts 78 year old retired pastor Clive Johnston over publicly reading the Bible verse John 3:16, sparking free speech debate. On May 7, 2026, District Judge Peter King at Coleraine Magistrates' Court in Northern Ireland convicted 78-year-old retired pastor Clive Johnston (former president of the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland) of two charges under the Abortion Services (Safe Access Zones) Act (Northern Ireland) 2023. He was fined £450 (~$614). On July 7, 2024, Johnston held a small open-air service outside Causeway Hospital in Coleraine. He preached a sermon on John 3:16 ("For God so loved the world..."), with no signs, placards, mention of abortion, harassment, or obstruction . The court found he acted with intent or recklessness to "influence" a "protected person" (someone accessing abortion services) and failed to leave when directed by police. The judge acknowledged his good character and Christian faith but ruled he knowingly risked the effect within the zone. Johnston's response: He called it "a very dark day for Christian freedom" and said he never imagined a criminal conviction at 78 for preaching the gospel. He and supporters view it as a test case on the law's breadth. He is considering an appeal. "At 78 years old, I never imagined I would leave a courtroom with a criminal conviction for preaching the Christian gospel." He says the case raises serious concerns about free speech and religious expression.

I visited a church some time ago where the pastor was teaching about the gifts of the Holy Spirit. At some point, he asked everyone to mention the gift they desired most. Almost the entire room shouted, ‘Prophecy.’ And honestly, I felt disturbed. Not because prophecy is wrong, scripture says to desire spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy (1 Corinthians 14:1). But I kept wondering why almost nobody mentioned wisdom, discernment, faith, mercy, helps, administration, or even the ability to live a truly consecrated life. You see, we are in a generation that loves gifts that make people visible, but overlooks gifts that make people stable. Everybody wants to speak mysteries. Few want the wisdom to build a godly home. Everybody wants to see visions. Few want discernment to recognize error. Everybody wants a microphone ministry. Few want character. But the same Spirit that gives prophecy also gives wisdom, knowledge, discernment, faith, help, and administration (1 Corinthians 12:4–11, 28). The early church was not built by prophets alone. It was sustained by men and women with different graces functioning together under one Spirit. Sometimes I think what this generation needs is not more people who can say, ‘Thus saith the Lord,’ but more believers who can accurately represent Christ in wisdom, discipline, love, purity, and sound judgment because a gift can attract people but only character and spiritual maturity can sustain what the gift gathers.”
