So the frost sticking around but as needs must we have decided to open all the course but definitely noticed the fescue decline last year ! Try to put all pins front of greens to protect but will spring overseed to aid recovery ❤️‍🩹 in the mean time up it’s birthday drinks 🍺 ⚒️

Our Kubota BX231 Tractor & equipment has been stolen from our ground. We have been targeted like a number of other local clubs, so please help us catch those responsible. Our volunteers work so hard & we're all so upset & 😡 @swpleague @swsportsnews @Cornishfootball @KJMsport57

This is why we lean on fescues here in Iceland. The left double rows are creeping bents still completely dormant. Then a row of fescue/bent mixes or pure fescue, a border of chewing fescue and then colonial bent that's still dormant. Which would you go for if you open tomorrow?

As the winter work draws to a close, some finer details now like the new tee signage looking so good on the Links @royalstdavidsgc and the new bunkering settling down nicely. Nice dry conditions at the moment so getting surfaces ready for the season ahead is top priority now👌

Some changes for the year ahead @royalstdavidsgc with the acquisition of a new @JohnDeere greens triple and fairway mower for the busy season where presentation and quality of cut is paramount to the business and best possible experience for the golfer.

Last big project of 2024 complete. Brilliant work by @tiplady_joe, Andy West and our contractor JW Napthine. Full Transformation of our 16th fairway bunker, raising the base by 1/2 metre. Lots of Railway sleepers and lots of sand.

The new reservoir construction @PurdisHeathGolf has been completed this week by @AJMorrisLtd1. The reservoir will futureproof the club becoming self-sufficient for irrigation water following localised rainfall piped in from surrounding businesses.
