@BrianMcleish The problem is that whether parents use the Community Empowerment Act, Parent Involvement Act or now UNCRC Act - the LA misrepresents what they are doing in terms of engagement and nearly always say they have ticked the consultation box.




With the latest expansion to childcare rolling out this week, it is more vital than ever that the coming year sees the introduction of a comprehensive workforce strategy to recruit, retain, recognise and reward the talented early years professionals at the heart of the sector.





@fionalarkin13 @UpstartScot Hi @fionalarkin13 if the child turns 4yrs old in Nov 2024, this means the child will be 4yrs old on the first day of the new school term in Aug 2025. This child can either start then or defer to August 2026.
