Virginia Legend Daniel Frishkorn has passed away at Age 41 🙏🏻 Frishkorn was truly one of Virginia wrestling’s all-time greats. A graduate of Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, Virginia, he was a four-time Virginia State Champion and finished his high school career as the winningest wrestler in VA history with 182 victories. His résumé speaks for itself: 2002 Ironman Champion, 2002 Beast of the East Champion, NHSCA Senior National Champion at 130 pounds, two-time Junior National Freestyle All-American, Dapper Dan Wrestling Classic winner, and member of the USA Dream Team. He was ranked No. 1 in his weight class by Amateur Wrestling News, Wrestling USA Magazine, and WIN Magazine. He went on to wrestle for Oklahoma State University, where he became an All-American in 2005, placing 4th at 141 pounds for the Cowboys. Rest in peace, Daniel.
