If you understand anything about my philosophy, let it be this:
Truth is the highest governing principle from which all desirable things flow, like courage, which in turn enables integrity and thus loyalty.
You can judge people very quickly by ascertaining their appetite and tolerance for truth. Easily offended people are treacherous people. If they are more comfort oriented than truth oriented, they are predisposed to extreme selfishness and thus treachery. You can literally infer someone’s entire capacity for virtue and dependability from their relationship with truth. The comfort preferring are weak and untrustworthy.
Violent devotion is the highest relational orientation. It is equality through mutual supremacy whilst maintaining polarity.
Paradox is fundamental, and intrinsic to all greatness.
Not all paradoxes are equal, some are dysfunctional rather than generative, and it’s important to make that distinction.
Truth preference is also God preference, because truth is a macro ontological expression of God, and so inherently beautiful even when the realisation is painful or undesirable or disgust inducing. The poetry of contradiction interwoven between all things that becomes symphony is God’s signature.
This is a heavy distillation of what fundamentally underlies my worldview. So if you understand these things properly, you should be able to understand most of what I say, or at least what informs it.

My two cents.
The principal should be a bit more sophisticated. He should teach the students true history of the valley and gradually bring them to hate the infection that has spread there for 600 years.

UGC Issues ‘Vande Mataram’ Compliance Order.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has directed all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to strictly comply with Ministry of Home Affairs orders on singing the full six stanzas of 'Vande Mataram'.
Issued on April 6, 2026, the University Grants Commission notification urges universities and colleges to enforce the National Song in campuses and even instructs schools to include group singing of 'Vande Mataram' in daily morning assemblies.
It’s a calculated move to crush minority faith and push saffron agenda in education. Muslim students now face daily pressure, Sing against Tawheed or be branded anti-national. #IndianMuslims

The single biggest recurring failure in Western foreign policy: Mirror Imaging. Assuming the other side thinks like you do, values what you value, and will respond to incentives the way you would.

After #Nashik and Hyderabad, here are some more corporate Jihad cases:
1. Wipro office in Kolkata Salt Lake, where there have been cases of Love Jihad and the office was the first to allow a namaz break.
2. Amazon Customer Service office, where greetings are taking place in “Assalamu Walaikum”.
3. Manipulation and pressure against Hindu employees, including denial of leaves while Muslims are granted them.
4. A friend of mine told me about this story an employee told him working at an IT firm in Hyderabad: In the month of Ramadan, they would ask Hindus to keep roza as its good for health. They would wash foot in wash basin, offer namaz wherever they want and things like this. Among the perpetrators were Muslims from Kashmir as well.

This is from an office work group that also has Hindus in it.
That’s how things start. First it’s for fun, then it attracts you because you feel left out, and then it becomes a mandate. Ultimately, it gets into your head with constant manipulation. So beware, and share more stories if you have any in the comments.

How come it was then that Persians compiled Sunnah and Sunnis became its primary followers?

Many people do not understand this basic thing. The first two caliphates of Islam were Arab - the Rashidun Caliphate and the Umayyad Caliphate. Under these two caliphates, Islam was a tribal religion where the Arabs (the people of the revealation) were above the non-Arab converts. This politico-theology is called the Mawali system according to which
1. Non-Arab Muslim converts had to be a direct subject or a client (mawali) or vassal king under an Arab tribe
2. Non-Arab subjects at many places had to continue paying the jazia tax to the Arabs even after converting to Islam!
3. Non-Arabs mostly could not lead prayers or call for Adhan
4. Non-Arabs mostly could not occupy high positions in both the clergy and the polity
5. Compared to Arabs, non-Arab converts got lower shares of booty (from conquest), land, status, and so on, despite their peity and contribution to Islam
The third caliphate of Islam which was the Abbasid Caliphate was also Arab but this caliphate rose to power and defeated the Umayyads by forming a coalition with non-Arab converts, esply the Khorasanis (converted Persians), and by promising them some amount of integration, abolished the jazia tax for all converted Muslims, and incorporated more non-Arabs into bureaucracy and military.
Enter the ninth century when the political power of the Abassid caliphate began to weaken and there arose many regional rulers (titled Sultans) who while nominally ruling on the behalf of the caliph, practically ran their own affairs in their kingdoms.
At this time, there arose a movement called the Shu’ubiyya, mainly championed by Iranians, who rejected this ethnically privileged gatekeeping of Islam by the Arab tribes. They argued that Islam was a universal faith that superseded Arab tribalism. Through the Shu’ubiyya movement, they launched a counter-offensive which was both intellectual and military. The Persian Muslim elites separated the universal theology of Islam from the specific culture of the Arabs.
They argued that while the Quranic revelation and the religion of Islam was divinely inspired and the expansion of Islam was divinely ordained, the Arab tribes through which the message was received and spread, were not perfect and in fact flawed.
The Persians
1. mastered Arabic grammar : in fact, Arabic grammar itself was first analysed and standardised by a Persian Muslim named Sībawayh !!!
2. mastered Islamic jurisprudence : all the Sunni and Shia hadith collections that we hae today were collected and compiled by mostly Persian origin Muslims which include famous names like al-Bukhari and Muslim Hajjaj!!)
3. mastered Islamic theology : most theologians in the Abassid Caliphate were Iranians and Central Asians
They mastered all these much better than the Arabs themselves during the Abassid times, and hence by doing so, the Persians sought to dominate the religion culturally from then on, since they were now more qualified in the new religion than the Arabs were.
They also claimed and ensured that while the revelation of Islam was in the Arabic language to an Arab prophet, the political vessel that would house it need not be Arabic, and they ensured that the cultural and linguistic vessel of the civilisation that would sustain it from now on, would be Persian.
I see lot of low-IQ rightoid memes saying that Persia converted to Islam in thirty years but no. Many Persian Muslim poets in the classical era (8th to 10th century) either were converts from Zoroastrianism, or had Zoroastrian parents who converted, or had Zoroastrian grandparents who converted to Islam; some famous names among them in one of these three categories include (based on tradition)
1. Converts : Daqiqi, Pazhdo (who remained a Zoroastrian in the 13th century), Daylami
2. Parents converted : Ferdowsi, Omar Khayyam
3. Grandparents converted : Bastami
It is estimated that Iran was roughly only 40% Muslim by the mid-9th century and 80% by the end of the 11th century. Conversion to Islam, in fact, accelerated only under native Persian Muslim dynasties and was a gradual process and most of the Persian nobility converted to Islam to keep their status under Arab rule and then they trickled down Islam slowly but firmly to the rest of their people gradually under their rule, after they consolidated their power and the Arabs lost political dominance.
Under Persian dominance, Islam transformed from an Arab supremacist project to a theoretically egalitarian religion now clothed in Persianate language and culture.
After the 10th century, the Turks would emerge as the dominant power in Islamic polity and in 1517, the Ottoman Turkish Sultan Selem I captured the holy land of Islam and assumed the title of the caliph. Some Arabs resented this. The Abassid Caliphate was Arab and despite the fact that the Arab caliph held only symbolic power, the capture of the caliphate by Turks (erstwhile barbarian neo-converts from the Steppe) was not recieved well universally in the Arab world.
The Wahabi project was in part, a project to Arabise Islam again and take it back to its earliest Rashidun and Umayyad roots where the Arab culture would again dominate and the corruptions accumulated in the post-Arab times would be removed. This is why sometimes, people in the Arabian peninsula treat converted Muslims of other races as second-class.

@ADropInDSky Thank you. It was a labour of love. From designing the space and the furniture to finding the right person to execute the designs, to finding the right stuff for each corner, took a lot of time and energy, but, it was worth it.

Mount Athos, an autonomous monastic region in Greece, enforces a strict Avaton (prohibition) that bans women and even female animals (except cats to curb mice, lol) from entering the entire peninsula. This rule has been in place for over 1,000 years to maintain monastic celibacy and honor the Virgin Mary. Violating this law can result in legal penalties, including imprisonment. Access is restricted to men with a specific permit.
The prohibition extends 500 meters (approx. 1,640 feet) from the coastline. Even tourist boats are restricted to maintaining this distance.
The ban is upheld by the Greek Parliament and is recognized within the European Union for spiritual and religious reasons. Attempting to enter can lead to a prison sentence of two months to one year.
According to Orthodox tradition, the peninsula is dedicated to the Virgin Mary ("The Garden of the Theotokos"), who is considered the only woman allowed on the mountain.
One of the traditions that has been handed down regarding this is that the Virgin Mary was supposedly blown off course when she was trying to sail to Cyprus and landed on Mount Athos. And she liked it so much that she prayed to her son that she should be given it as her own and he agreed. It is still called 'the garden of the mother of God', dedicated to her glory, and she alone represents her sex on Mount Athos.
Another tradition has it that centuries ago, after several monks reported visions of the Virgin Mary, following whom it was decided that the Athos monks should devote themselves only to her, and that no other woman should be allowed lest they may outshine her.
I am waiting for @AKanisetti (who blocked me recently) to write articles on this too and call the Virgin Mary as controversial because there is a small mountainous peninsula where she won’t allow other women to enter.

Imagine the audacity of Muslim fanatics! They are using their positions in Top Corporate like TCS to coerce their juniors into conversions. Earlier we have seen Tuition centres and even Doctors doing the same. Every conceivable power dynamics is being used to seek conversions. The remedy isn’t anti conversion laws alone. The answer to this madness is a multi-pronged response. Challenge Islam and match their aggression. But the ultimate solution lies in Hinduism becoming a Proselytising religion. Not so long ago only Christians showed such zealousness in India. Dawah, though a fundamental tenet of Islam, wasn’t practiced so feverishly, at least in India. But now Muslims are matching Christians in their rabidity. Even tiny religions like Bahaism show similar zeal for conversions. This struggle can only be won by entering the conversion arena. Simply asking the Govt to stop conversions wouldn’t help. And Hinduism becoming a proselytising religion would require massive transformation. It will require temporal and scriptural authority for the conversion act, social transformation and sagacity to absorb converts, and instil a sense of merit in an average Hindu for seeking converts.

2. They identified the women with some weak points, be it professionally or personally, like Women with years of marriage but no children, women who have problems in their marriages, and so on
3. All Islamists from the organisation had a separate group where they would identify their next ‘Potential’ victims and discuss the details of already identified ones
4. Separate groups were made with the victims where they were groomed, making sure the accused never faced allegations of molestations, sexual assaults and conversions
5. Women were used as the first point of contact, and then the accused men proceeded
This is not a normal crime; it is an organised JIHAD.

Ancient Pagan priests were not pastors
The temples of ancient Greece, Rome, Egypt, and other places were not churches. They were not gathering places for the faithful they were homes for the Gods. In many cases ordinary people weren't even allowed inside the temples. The temple priests performed the rites necessary to maintain good relations between the Gods and the people, but that focused primarily on the needs of the Gods, not the needs of the people.
You did not go to a temple priest to get married or for counseling about how to recover from abusive parents. The idea of priests as counselors is largely a Christian thing. We expect our priests to do all the things we see Catholic priests and Protestant ministers doing, without ever asking if that's the right model for Pagan priesthood or not

"Everybody must have access to every temple and mutt" is a very weird proposition. It is really upto the adherents of the traditional strand that is tagged to the temple on how they want to manage the entry rules of their temple. If they want to have strict rules of exclusion and inclusion it should be their choice. If they want to run it as a free for all temple again it should be their choice. Problem is somehow secular state and secular courts have a special love for Hindu temples and cultivate a Mai Baap attitude towards Hindu temples. If they are so concerned about all this and pass statements like "..that is not good for Hinduism" then sure let them build their own temples who is stopping. Open as many free for all temples as you want who is stopping? If Hindus are so much in love with these temples then naturally they will all patronise these and give up the old evil sampradaya and other discriminatory entry practice based temples. Problem solved. Peak khichdi secularism. Certain entities seem to fashion themselves as reformer-in-chief on all Hindu matters.

A few points: Japan did not court FDI or FII during their economic take off. They instead licensed foreign tech and worked on mastering it and improving on it, and eventually surpassing it.
Second, FII is by nature fickle. Mostly it promotes the "casino" mindset. We also start dancing to FII masters. Never good.
We cannot financialize our way to prosperity.
I am sure I would be told I am hopelessly old-fashioned but I will say "Study Japan". Even with extremely poor demographics, Japan punches way above its weight in a wide range of crucial technologies.

Asked someone from the industry whether foreign investors are still interested in allocating to India. The TLDR: Interest has pretty much died out. India is seen as geopolitically exposed, especially to an oil shock. There are no real AI plays. Valuations are rich. And the rupee situation doesn't help. On top of that, investors who were sitting on gains have taken money off the table and are now looking at markets like Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Europe etc instead. He also pointed out that our LTCG/STCG structure and the increase in STT have made India less attractive compared to other markets that are seeing inflows. If we need to attract FPIs back, and we do, fixing this feels like pretty low-hanging fruit.
