So apparently I'm the bad guy for bringing this up, but I’m curious where everyone stands. My neighbor was out mowing his lawn completely shirtless yesterday afternoon. I get that it’s hot and it’s his property, but when did throwing on a basic T-shirt in a residential neighborhood become too much to ask? This isn't a beach or a pool—it's a community where families and kids are constantly walking by. A few neighbors told me I'm overreacting, while others agree it's just about basic respect for the neighborhood. Am I being unreasonable here, or have our standards for what's appropriate just gone out the window?

When we got married, we said "We'll wait until we graduate to have children." But, in reality, both of us knew we wanted kids. This lady walked out of the restaurant because they were playing the national anthem. She says she doesn’t feel safe anywhere there’s an American flag or where the national anthem is being played. She believes that someone in the crowd is going to hurt her or, even worse, take her life.

Within one day of arrival: food or food allowance and continued food assistance until an individual or family is able to provide food for himself, herself or themselves. ————— 💡 If you are coming with no or very little money Please tell your case worker asap! 🛒If they take you grocery shopping - stock up for at least a week or two. Go with a list and don’t let them rush you. They will use an agency CC and this will be deducted from your $2450 pp budget. 🍎 Ask for a list of all the food banks around you!! 🆘 Document and report issues Immediately by Email !

This video came at exactly the right time… 😭🙏 The waiting has been really heavy today. It’s been over a week since our tentative travel email and we still haven’t heard anything about cultural orientation. We don’t know the exact date or even which city we’re going to. Packing feels almost impossible right now, what do we keep and what do we get rid off when we have no idea when we’re leaving or what the weather will be like? Some moments we’re excited, other moments the uncertainty weighs heavy. But this powerful reminder to take that first step of faith even when the path isn’t clear… it strengthened my heart again. When did going to the ER become a thing when you have a bad stomach flu? I'm not knocking it, probably fluids would have helped me plenty of times with this sickness but I never heard of anyone going to the ER for it until the last couple years and now it seems relatively common?

@handmadeshoesia My son had a bacterial infection in his eye. He was hospitalized and put on intravenous antibiotics. I warned him about making everyone wash their hands and glove in his presence because of what I had seen in the ER. He didn’t take me seriously. They gave him MRSA in his eye.

@AEzMimi I also believe in hospitals for acute care only, and even then I've heard too many stories about catching something scary from the hospital 😬😬 (though I do include birth in that list mainly because I've heard too many stories where acute care becomes necessary in birth)

@Batenswytch It’s beautiful! We had a big place before moving. I might miss some parts of the house and gardens but then I remember we never could leave for more than a day at a time. Now I have a small yard and house but I have a life.

GUYS. Look at the old back porch. THIS is the only thing I miss about that place, but I'll have the current one up to snuff in time.

✝️ My heart is so heavy. 😭 Tyler the young man with brain cancer was taken to Heaven last night. The angels are rejoicing. Ruth, his mother was thankful that he went quickly with no pain. The doctors were not sure why this happened so suddenly. But everything is in God’s timing. Please pray that God comforts her through the grieving. I told her that she took such good care of him. Now Jesus gets to take care of him. 🫂
