ALTA Paramedic Health in Grande Prairie had the honour of recognizing five citizens for their life-saving actions during a cardiac arrest emergency. From calling 911, retrieving an AED, and performing CPR, each person played a critical role in a remarkable community response.

We were honored to visit George P. Nicholson School in Edmonton to present Citizen Recognition Awards to four exceptional teachers & support staff whose quick actions made a critical difference during a life‑threatening medical emergency.

EHS-Alberta joined emergency responders from across the Edmonton region at Get Ready In The Park this past weekend. This is a family event hosted by the City of Edmonton Office of Emergency Management in recognition of Emergency Preparedness Week.

EHS-Alberta traded their ambulances for Golden Arches to support McHappy Day at McDonald’s! Funds raised go directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities, helping families with sick children across Canada stay together during their medical journey.

EHS – Alberta Rapid Access Paramedic teams and Medic Moose braved the cold on April 25th for the annual @MHCollege 'Rattler Run'. Medic Moose won 1st place in the Mascot Race this year! We enjoyed cheering on the racers in the snow - thank you for having us!

Provincial Deputy Chief Jeremy Olfert went head-to-head with Edmonton's Police Chief, Fire Chief and Mayor at Tim Hortons—trying to sell the most, all for a great cause! Proceeds from every Smile Cookie support youth programs through the Edmonton Police Foundation.
