Someone asked before the A's series what the Yanks would do over the next 4 series, 13 games. I replied, a real championship team would go 10-3 against those teams but I'll be happy with 9-4. Looks like we better hope for 7-6. No offense or Bullpen
@MissYankee You all will be screaming for the Yanks to give him a contract just like you did for DJ and Belli. DJ burned us and the ridiculous contact we gave Belli will also burn us.
I don't think Jazz should be a part of the team next year. He doesn't hustle all the time, hits once in awhile, talks too much and is too much of a show boat. He's also very immature.
@MissYankee If Judge & Belli dont start hitting the Yanks will be out of it in July and the trades will be coming. Jazz, Bednar and Trent will all be traded and Belli too if they could find a sucker for that ridiculous contract they gave him.
If the Yankees don’t think McMahon is a better option than Grichuk against a RHP with the game on the line, that’s kind of a disaster for McMahon.
I know he’s struggling but that’s a whole other level of your manager not believing in you.
@eyyankees Because all you couch GM's were screaming to get a 3rd Baseman last year and there was no one available besides him and Suarez and they did not want him for his terrible defense and K's though he was probably a better "Short-term" option.
The Yankees will be paying Ryan McMahon $32M over the next two seasons.
Brian Cashman ate the entirety of the contact from the Rockies.
A massive blunder.
@FTO_Fun@MissYankee he is not ready, look at his stats in AA, not even in AAA yet. They wont make same mistake they did with Jasson bringing him up too early with little AAA experience unless needed for injuries
@AS76916@espn Dusty has only been there 2 years. Say what you want. You still have to create and gel a team. That’s impressive. Also don’t forget Dusty took Florida Atlantic to the final four a few years ago
@WFAN660@tommylugauer I'm not a Boone fan and certainly not a JC fan but: So easy to say after the fact. If he got a hit, what would your comment be? I Did not see who was pitching, what is his history with RHH?
@JoeJersey10 and what positions do they play? and don't tell us a guy at AA is ready. Jasson, will still lose more games that he would win because of his D. Grisham, while not doing great has been OK over the first 8 games and that is the only position you can replace with someone in the MiLB
Yankees got guys in the minors that don't deserve to be there and a bunch of players batting.200 and lower on the parent team & to boot they all strike out plenty
@ColeIsKing_ They are starters and they want them to continue to develop as starters. What so difficult to understand. Blackburn is the least of our bullpen problems
Yankees really have Luis Gil, Carlos Lagrange, Elmer Rodríguez, and Yovanny Cruz sitting in Triple-A,
and Paul Blackburn is on the roster over all of them
Make it make sense.
@_nateschwartz you are wrong, he whole body is in the field except his glove arm when he caught the ball. It is no different than an OF leaping and catching the ball with his glove over the wall. The fact that he fell into the crowd AFTER he caught the ball does not matter.
I will die on the hill if you end up on the other side of the wall with the ball, that should be a HR. you didn’t prevent the ball from clearing the fence
@TheMetsX Disagree, his whole body was in the ballpark except for his glove arm, That is no different than an OF jumping and catching the ball with his glove over the wall. It does not matter if he fell into the stands AFTER he caught the ball
