I need people not from the area to understand that Lynnwood and Federal Way are both relatively large cities just outside of Seattle. This isn't unreasonable knowledge for a resident to have! It's like being from San Fran and not knowing where Oakland is.

There's Transit Discourse™ in /r/Seattle right now and it's got me losing my damn mind. There's only 1 (2, soon) light rail line in Seattle, and each direction is labeled by its terminus station (as is the norm worldwide). This is VERY confusing for people!

Important context: My ex wife and I JUST separated 3 months ago lmao.

My friend stopped by recently to drop off a care package of treats, alcohol, etc. Went out of their way to find out my favorite beer and stuff. Incredibly nice of them. I asked what spurred this on and they said: "I do this every Valentine's, for my single friends." Oh.
