@nemorolo @Michael_Yoni64 Exactly so. We know what to do physically- but it doesn’t mean that there’s no feeling of loss. The way we look at it is that there are worse things in life and these events are a blessing for all four of us.

@Michael_Yoni64 @Adam_Creme Obviously that is the practical solution. It's not quite as straightforward as that emotionally. One parent doesn't get to be there when their child graduates.Each child has a parent missing and they miss each others. It will be fine. It's still a little sad for all though.

@Adam_Creme As an articled clerk I said to my principal that I had studied employment law as part of my degree course and wondered about making my post qualification career. He said “Nah, I can’t see that ever being a lucrative career”. So I didn’t 😂

On Monday it will be 36 years since I was admitted as a solicitor.
I have only ever practised as an employment lawyer & have taken a moment to reflect.
On the one hand I think I’m getting quite good at it & on the other I can hear my mother asking what was wrong with medicine.
