57 years ago today the journey began. Since then - a few cups and finals. Relegation and promotion. Greaves, Gilzean, Chivers, Hoddle, Waddle, Ardiles, Gascoigne, Ginola, Klinsmann, Modric, Bale, Kane plus... What next? Who knows, but the journey will continue come what may.

On Monday it will be 36 years since I was admitted as a solicitor. I have only ever practised as an employment lawyer & have taken a moment to reflect. On the one hand I think I’m getting quite good at it & on the other I can hear my mother asking what was wrong with medicine.

@kevhillsy Went to every home game that season with my dad, buying tickets in advance or at the turnstile. On the back of that applied for our season tickets and got confirmation of our successful application the same day we signed Ossie and Ricky. Good timing!

I'm not Jewish. I don't have any Jewish friends (that I know of) but I am DISGUSTED by the demonisation & bullying of Jews that's been happening the last two plus years (& more, unbeknownst to me) & even MORE disgusted that some of the bullies are people I called friends.

Matt Lucas just happens to be Jewish. He’s never spoken up for Israel but still he’s harassed with ‘Free Palestine! Free Palestine.’ The Palestine movement is a Jew hating movement. Ancient hatred of the Jew is dressed up as progressive by people who think they are good.

@pablocords Vast majority of conceded goals from open play come through his channel. Among many weak links he is the weakest. All very well being a good passer of the ball but first priority of a RB is to defend. He can't. Was the same last season but neither Ange nor Frank saw/sees it.

@danielwynne_ Always felt he didn't get full recognition for his contribution to Spurs. No doubt his hey day was at Leeds but he was an effective midfield minder to Ghod, Ardiles and Villa. Another sad loss so soon after Big Chiv.

About 10 years ago I advised pupils in chambers to be on twitter as it was a good way of keeping up with the law. How times have sadly changed. What the law there is is often wrong and so much content is pretty vile. (I realise the irony)
