Sport has the power to change the lives of refugees. And to promote a message of inclusion and compliance with international law. It’s a message the world needs to hear, with so many pulling back from important benchmarks and conventions. Opposing conflict, promoting climate action and upholding international law are also important because they ensure that less people are forcibly displaced. Like the Afghan Women’s National Team @AfghanWnt, featured with Filippo Grandi in the @Olympics Opening ceremony. Like all refugees, they’re an inspiration. Congrats to @FilippoGrandi for important recognition and visibility for all refugees around the world. #PARIS2024
