Even your reasoning is flawed in the interview. Tesla is achieving FSD using a method that no other manufacturer can even dream of. Having a car with only 7-8 cameras that can drive anywhere flawlessly is what makes Tesla so great. I am shocked that even legacy auto and all their money and use of sensors has not achieved FSD. When RoboTaxi launches, it will be like no other service, even Waymo will be left in the dust, cause RoboTaxi will not be geofenced. In my opinion you spend more time bashing the guy vs understanding what is going on. SpaceX has made space travel possible, cause before SpaceX, the government shut down the space program completely. Without Tesla and their innovation, we would t even have an electric car, we would still be driving an ICE vehicle.

I once bought a Tesla Model X from a guy who bought an entire fleet of them, thinking that they would become self-driving and he would make a fortune renting them on Tesla's Robotaxi app. That was 6 years ago. Now, history is repeating itself.

@ElectrekCo @FredLambert Fred is stupid and so is @RealDanODowd. FSD will get approved and even RDW and Tesla know that. Only @FredLambert and @RealDanODowd think FSD is dangerous. The real danger is that you have these people claim their experts and also they are the ones pushing the lies.

Hmm if the weather conditions are bad, and someone is using FSD (either pre or post v14), why is the driver not paying more attention at the road or at least keep his hands and feet ready. Yes, the system has limitations, but so does Waymo! We all know they do, power goes out and they can’t operate. It’s very easy to blame the system, but the driver is also at fault here. Blame the System architecture, blame the lack of testing both edge cases and also negative testing. Let’s be honest, drive through a snow storm in any vehicle. and I guarantee you, you will not have 10 miles of visibility. Now if u take a Tesla, FSD would def throw faults saying reduced capability, visibility, etc, but the cameras visibility will still see more than what a human will see. I have worked and talked with several types of optical engineers, and they all say that the human eye FOV is limited, but a camera can be designed to have a much better FOV. As always Fred, I don’t think you have a strong understanding of optics or even FSD in general. If you want to be a journalist and actually make money, why not for once try writing about something you actually know and are knowledgeable about. Clearly it’s not engineering, cars, or even Autonomous Vehicles. @FredLambert/@RealDanODowd - I think you guys were both cut from the cloth. Both don’t know shit!

Here’s why @NHTSAGov deepened its probe into @Tesla FSD crashes today. FSD relies only on cameras to drive. Watch FSD's latest version, v14.2.2.5, rear-end a car because its camera is blinded by condensation. Get this defective software off the road.

Initial Super Heavy V3 and Starbase Pad 2 activation campaign complete, wrapping up several days of testing that loaded cryogenic fuel and oxidizer on a V3 vehicle for the first time. While the 10-engine static fire ended early due to a ground-side issue, we saw successful startup on all installed Raptor 3 engines. Next up: preparing the booster for a 33-engine static fire

@vladtenev @RobinhoodApp Can we get Coastal community bank to add Zelle. I am hanging onto my Checking account b/c of Zelle. If Robinhood Banking had Zelle, I would close my other checking account in a heart beat.

Robinhood Banking just crossed $1B in deposits from 65K funded customers. Huge milestone — and the team is just getting started🔥 Robinhood is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services are provided by Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC.

@Leo_Traydes RH makes money with every trade, every margin account, and every option sale. Plenty of people who do all of that across all types of RH accounts. Shit I switched over b/c they were offering a 2% bonus.

How does Robinhood afford to give all these transfer bonuses, cash back, deposit matches etc.?! The amount of “free” money you get from them for $50 a year is unreal

@unlimited_ls I think some individuals are just dumb. You would think with all the cameras and it constantly recording, you would not mess with a Tesla unless you want to get caught

You can speculate all you want. Dan can speculate all he wants, Dan can think he is a Subject Matter Expert of FSD, but why don’t we all just let the cards fall. Last time I checked, all these companies started Self Driving b/c Tesla had something called Self Driving. Waymo exists b/c Tesla came up with something. Let’s make sure we all understand that. Weather you do it with all cameras or with a sensor suite, that is not the deciding factor on market share. If the sensor suite is the best option, why is self driving only coming to life now, why hasn’t it been around for years?

$TSLA Cultist @wholemars proclaimed Tesla was “3–6 months” away from scaling autonomy with nobody in the car in September. Six months later, Tesla has just one unsupervised robotaxi, operating in a few city blocks of Austin. According to @ElonMusk, if you can't predict the future well you aren't very smart!
Whole Mars Catalog@wholemars

Once Tesla starts scaling up autonomy with nobody in the car, hold onto your asshole. The world will start changing very fast. This is happening within the next 3 - 6 months. $TSLA
