As for me- my path turns to a new kind of internet company. One that believes our future cannot be based on exchanging personal data for advertising $. One that welcomes everyone to talk, connect + create. One that believes everyone deserves to have belonging + connection online.

After 3.5 years I’ve made the gut-wrenching decision to leave the Tweet factory. I’ve been trying to figure out why this post was so hard for me to write. I think it’s because my work at Twitter doesn’t feel “finished.”
