Doing the Renegades campaign in Destiny 2 makes me so mad
I.. I think I hate Starwars now? Like... I am so tired of it. I think I genuinely, truly, dislike modern Starwars.
Everything it touches is so.. uninspired. I wanna continue but I also want to walk into traffic so🙃

@sunnydaevt Not defending Cross. But the devs didn’t want to stop. Most of them didn’t know til we did, not even the community manager. The majority of the studio was working on the expansion slated for release *next month* only for it to get canned. That isn’t ’clearly disinterested’.

I played a lot of Destiny. I didn't play every expansion, and I didn't do every raid. And to some, yeah, my numbers in game are miniscule. Something like 300 hours total. Good game, I enjoyed it.
But at what point is a studio ALLOWED to let go of an IP and say, "We want to do something else."
Shows end. Actors leave. The burnout gets real.
I think it's incredibly entitled to demand something that clearly the studio has no interest in. And even if you get Destiny 3, there's no way you can believe the studio is going to put their full effort and passion into it. It would simply be to appease the Destiny community.

If there’s anything the Destiny 2 community is proven to be good at, it’s making a lot of noise amongst ourselves. We’re pros at this point.

@OrangeSmileCat Arc Raiders has been great. Extraction shooters aren’t my normal cup of tea, but once the aggression based match making kicks in it gets very chill. The PvE is great, people are nice and funny and there’s some very memorable moments. PvP threat is there, but keeps its suspense.

@artificial0wl Honestly yeah. Like, while it can’t be denied Marathon had taken resources from Destiny; it’s the fault of management. More resources would be available if Pete Parsons wasn’t trash and if even half the shit in this last update happened even six months ago.

Destiny reignited my passion for writing and reading. I love the world, the characters, and all the moving pieces.
