Canada is concerned by the recent escalation. Canada is significantly increasing Arctic security — strengthening our military and investing in critical infrastructure. We will continue to collaborate with our Allies to protect this critical region because we are all stronger when we work together.

Thankful for the time & that we had the chance to listen to each other's concerns. In particular, I'm glad US officials heard directly from Premiers regarding tariff threats & the "51st state". We have a lot of shared goals & ground, but Canada will never be the 51st state.
