The Hermit Thrushes have arrive at Dolan Nature Sanctuary in Kent County! In West Michigan, we see the Hermies in April and October. They pass through on the way up to the UP and Canada. Wood Thrushes in a couple weeks! #BirdMigration #Birding #MichiganBirds

On the way back from the nature sanctuary I spotted Momma Red Tail on the pole. She decided to take off and do some circles around me. I likely disrupted her hunting plan and she was not too happy. I got glared at.

@NatureEnjoyer_ Right, 100. I was so glad to captured this GCK. After dozens of attempts LOL. Funny thing is, it doesn't even look like slow motion because they are so fast moving!

The Golden Crowned Kinglet is one of my top favorites to photograph. Lots of personality! They are one of the first migrators to arrive in the Spring in West Michigan. #Birding

@AndyLongfellow9 Nice shots Andy! I just had a cool moment following a Ruby-crowned Kinglet along the edge of some woods! It just kept jumping from branch to branch in the shrubs next to me & got within 3’ of me! Was super friendly haha

Another lifer! The Northern Harrier (Marsh Hawk) Driving in Northern Newaygo County I spotted a Seagull. But it was quite big and there was no reason for a Seagull to be there. So, I turned around. Managed some long range frames!
