Not the best birder. Definitely not the best photographer. Usually in Central Park, but will travel for Timberdoodles! Same handle elsewhere.

I love when herons vigorously shake to align their feathers--which is what this Great Blue Heron was doing just after dawn in the Grand Tetons. It seems to call this pond home. 🥰🥰🥰 #Herons #GrandTetons #birdcpp

Today is Flaco's memorial gathering in Central Park underneath his favorite oak tree. I took this photo on November 17th, the last day he spent there. So, if you're going, look up and imagine this heroic owl-king perched on the branch just overhead. 💔🦉💔#Flaco #birdcpp
