A young lady called Isi called in last week to ask if we could sell her artwork. She’s off to uni and would like to earn some money selling her work. We explained that it would be much better for her if we were to just promote her work, rather than sell it - as then she’d get to keep all of the money made. We don’t want commission to promote someone talented & passionate. She returned today with this picture for us. Made mum teary. How wonderful. @JaneFallon @CatSteadman Huge hugs and all the best for a speedy recovery and no more surgery. Trampling is standard nursing practice as my Staffy (Janet) did that when I had a hysterectomy and I got better super quick!

So… I had my op today. I’m feeling remarkably fine, which is possibly the drugs & that might also explain why I’m cross eyed in pic 4). I had quite a lovely couple of hours drinking tea & reading the brilliant @CatSteadman ‘s new one (more on that later

Oh pals, we got caught in a hale storm far from home. The bab got soaked through and was shivering. She didn’t want to walk any further. We had to hide under a bush and get daddy to come collect us ☔️

So... I thought I should post something as I've had a few people notice I've been a bit quiet on here lately. About a month ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer - very early stage thankfully & the prognosis is excellent. I had a routine mammogram a week before Christmas …
