Today, I decided to leave my church. I can't sit through another political sermon where the phrase "White Supremacy" is used again and again, and I'm told I'm not doing enough for the LGBTQ+++ crowd. I want a church that has more crucifixes than rainbow flags and whose bishop doesn't send videos to play about how he protests at whatever the church's politics-du-jour is. And thus, I am no longer a member of the United Methodist Church.

I lived with Tristan all of last year, at Clemson. He will be a life long friend of mine. I will never forget the conversations we had before Ole Miss came around. He was not getting much love, the next “biggest” was Duke. A good friend of his put in a great word at Ole Miss. Bianco & Co. saw his ELITE advanced metrics & gave him a chance. Keep in mind, Tristan was coming into Ole Miss with a Torn UCL. I could not be more proud of my friend. He bet on himself & is now enjoying one hell of a ride.

It's the start of GAY PRIDE MONTH. As an older gay man I'm not proud. My generation fought SO hard for assimilation, NOT distinction. WE ACHIEVED IT. We just wanted to have the same rights as anyone else. We wanted equality in the workplace, society, the right to marry, have children, families and be regular members of society after years of indescribable persecution, emotional and psychological damage. WE GOT THAT. No one cared anymore. We won. Future generations destroyed everything we worked so hard to create for FOR THEM. They alienated the public through their ridiculous antics and gender politics to the point that I would not be caught dead at a PRIDE event or associate myself with the rainbow flag, or anything to do with the community they have hijacked. I'm not proud. I'm ashamed. You, spoiled, entitled pink and blue haired little pricks, with no concept or regard for history have annihilated all of our suffering and hard work. If by “shitty” you mean everything in their society is exactly the same, but somehow cheaper, cleaner, and more inspiring then can we import some of that “Russian shit” to America? Gas is cheaper, food is cheaper and they have less debt. Our media lies day in and day out and pretends Russia is on the brink of collapse to justify our own citizens struggling to afford basic necessities. Keep playing up to the Western delusion that Russia is failing because we punished them with sanctions for their moral sins, while we roll out the red carpet for the genocidal state of Israel. Keep applauding the same dumb foreign policy initiatives which brought us “we can overtake Persia in two weeks, Mr. President!”. Everything we are doing and have done is stupid and we owe it to a bunch of geriatric Baal Worshipers who think if they kill enough Palestinian children, they’ll prove themselves ‘chosen’ for Satan. Reality? The Eastern hemisphere is now on the rise and you can’t gatekeep that reality forever.
