It is concerning that an INEC IT Director lacks a basic understanding of how two-factor/multi-factor authentication (2FA/MFA) protocol works. That you need to have a direct access to the registered email or phone nos to validate authentication to be successful. As a result, you cannot use a random email or phone number copied from somewhere for this purpose, it's security by design. Amupitan needs to go.

I am genuinely struggling to understand this logic.
If the rest of the world is willing to pay a small toll to Iran to keep oil flowing and stabilise markets, then why does the U.S. feel the need to block all shipping, especially when it is not dependent on that oil?

Any circulation of the statement outside the Commission’s official channels was done independently and not coordinated by INEC. The publication by Peoples Gazette titled “Nigerians react as INEC reposts Tinubu aide’s message” is fake, misleading, and a misrepresentation of facts. gazettengr.com/nigerians-reac… INEC’s repost of the statement was solely to amplify accurate information earlier released from the Commission and should not be misconstrued as alignment with any individual or political office holder. The Commission remains strictly non-partisan and urges the public to disregard misleading interpretations of its actions.

There is no real momentum for ADC in Southern Nigeria. We are not seeing any significant political heavyweights joining the party or excitements as we having in the North beyond its early members—yet many in the South still expect the ticket to be handed to them on a platter, simply because they believe it is the turn of the South.
