Advising @MTNNG and other criminal extortionist telecom operators to offer token “freebies” in place of real accountability does nothing but think it could mislead Nigerians by endorsing superficial remedies rather than addressing the systemic exploitation subscribers face daily, from unexplained data depletion to persistent service failures that amount to outright consumer abuse and exploitation. Nigerians are not asking for handouts; they are demanding standards, transparent billing, reliable connectivity, and services that meet internationally accepted benchmarks. Anything short of that is an insult to millions who pay dearly for substandard service. The telecom operators must, within 7 DAYS from today, overhaul their practices and deliver the quality Nigerians deserve.
