@ArmagedonNearMe Haha nope never heard of it. I also like “y’all” - I first heard that irl on a trip to the US and my husband and I turned to each other agog 🤣. Less fun was we first heard “the friends” on that trip on a visit to Brooklyn bethel 🤦🏽‍♀️ - we’d never ever heard that before.

An Americanism that I really like is "fixing". When I hear "I'm fixing to do xyz" I grin like a loon.

If expectations are communicated through culture, hints, and “reflective questions,” the organization can claim it never imposed rules. Clever from a legal standpoint, but less so from a transparency standpoint.
