People misunderstood my point. I NEVER said Pakistan shouldn't get the J-35.
My argument is that if we get it, it should be in meaningful numbers: at least 40+ aircraft (around two squadrons), not just 6-12. A token 5th-gen fleet is not enough to shift the balance.

Quick note: It seems my previous thread has been interpreted in a way I didn't intend. I'll put out a follow-up post tomorrow to clear up some misconceptions and clarify the argument I was making.

@kaskaide1 Well..Rafael acquisition didn't make Pakistani JFs or F-16s obsolete..if your logic is that higher Gen platforms make lower Gen platforms obsolete...U.S still operates hundreds of F-16s / A-18s / F-15s despite having advanced F-35s & F-22s..

@kaskaide1 sorry, i looked it up..it can't carry PL-17s internally, but it can for sure carry PL-16s and future PL-21s internally which are realtively smaller than PL-17s..

@kaskaide1 I believe J-35 can carry 4 PL-17s in its internal weapons bay..

I Will be cooked for Saying this But PAF Shouldn't Get or They Don't Need J-35 Until India Gets Su-57 or F-35
If we got J-35 all other Platforms in PAF inventory will become obsolete as India will Also get 5th gen.
Same thing happened with F-16C JF-17

🇵🇰 People of Pakistan Pray That PAF Doesn't Get J-35 By 2035 ( this will give a tiny Window to Pakistan) & if PAF is Forced to get j-35 before 2028 total number should be 40 not some 6 or 12.

@kaskaide1 so Pakistani J-35s should make Indian Su-57s obsolete.. because it has far more capabilities in terms of stealth and avionics than Su-57...

@kaskaide1 section and lacking some stealth capabilities and from the last year face-off we know, dog-fights don't really matter these days, future is BVR..so all you need is a J-35 with couple PL-17, should get the Job done imo..

@5amrevival My shoulder was dislocated when I fell during a football match about 6 years ago, it never healed properly..

@5amrevival Pretty much every movement, while lifting dumbells, or a even during those chest excercies (using a barbell to lift weights)..these excercises limit my reps as my shoulder gets tired and starts aching.
any movement leading my hands behind my head is more prone to dislocation...
