STREETS OF #SEATTLE: Since last year, I have covered multiple encampment sweeps on 3rd Ave S. and Utah Ave S. in SODO. But the tents and RV's keep coming back and have been hunkered down for months. Business owners say they are demoralized and do not believe the city will ever resolve this. Remember, most of these folks have been offered shelter and services, but refused. I recognize many of the same RV's and vehicles that have simply moved around. There are also many new homeless campers. Along with the on going drug use and illegal activity in these situations, look at some of the weapons(SAMURAI SWORD) being carried around. Once again, Tammy Morales(@CMTammyMorales) is MIA and is ignoring her constituents in this neighborhood. @KC_RHA @seattledot @MayorofSeattle @GovInslee @kcexec @downtownseattle @SeattleSPU

Four firearms were recovered that the suspects threw out of the vehicle during the pursuit.
The suspects, a 20-yr-old male & 18-yr-old male, were booked for Drive By Shooting, 3 counts of Assault 1, Felony Eluding, 2 counts of Possession of a Stolen Firearm, & Hit & Run Attended.

Just before 2 pm a drive by shooting occurred in the 1300 blk of S 13 St. An occupied house was struck, no one injured inside. Officers saw the suspect car, a pursuit ensued, suspect car crashed into a vehicle at 112th St and Pacific Ave. No one injured. 2 adult males in custody.

Shooting: 2:59 a.m., 6400 blk S. Tac. Way. Suspects drove through doors of a business. Employee responding to alarm of adjoining business interrupted the burglary & was shot. Victim went to hospital w/ non-life-threatening injuries. Suspects fled in vehicle used in crime.
