Fun Fact: In the 15 minutes after the Super Bowl halftime show, Seattle’s water demand jumped by 6,477 gallons per minute. That could equal about 60,722 toilet flushes, meaning 7.8% of Seattle may have flushed during that time (and hopefully washed hands, too)! 🚽 💧

Getting rid of old toys? Take the batteries out first. Tape the ends and put them in a clear bag. You can schedule a Special Item Pickup or drop them off at our North or South Transfer Stations. Safe battery disposal helps prevent fires and protects workers.
