I voted to extend TPS for Haitians because I cannot, in good conscience, send people who were lawfully granted protection here, followed our laws, and built lives under our rules back to rape, murder, and chaos in a lawless Haiti. This is completely separate from amnesty or illegal immigration. Conflating the two is dangerous.

@BigChungus9009 In like 4th or 5th grade our lunch monitor was going through menopause and had a bad attitude so she tried to make it a rule we couldn’t talk. During lunch. Silent. No end date. It lasted like a week before the teachers noticed and put a stop to it. She wasn’t even a real teacher

Eating lunch in elementary school, I was sitting near some kids that were rolling grapes back and forth to each other. A wayward grape rolls my way and they ask me to give it back to them. I roll it back. Lunch "monitor" sees me do this and says "You. Detention. Now." I had never been even remotely in trouble before and had to serve my first and only detention in my school career for this heinous transgression. I learned more that day about how justice actually works than I would realize at the time.

Some things are more valuable than the bottom line.

[The Next Step For Orthodoxy] North American Anglicans For Reform (@AnglicanReform) is currently organizing leadership and communication. Our initiative over the upcoming months shall be the following: 1. Establish a vocal presence online highlighting patristic and reformation-era support for sound, orthodox teaching regarding complementarian doctrine, marriage & sexuality, and adherence to the creeds. 2. Finalize The Corollary To The Valentine Appeal which stands as our mission statement (currently public on our website anglicanreform.org and available to sign but is still being refined through community feedback). 3. Once finalized, the corollary will be physically mailed to every parish and Bishop in the Anglican Church in North America. This mailed version will include a QR code for signing access to the document. 4. Work with Priests and ACNA leadership to help advocate for amendment to our canons in order to establish safeguards against further modernist revisionism in the church which so naturally flows from deconstructionist influence. Our goal is not to divide the ACNA, but to unite it under the same historic faith delivered and received by our Anglican forefathers and the many ancient fathers of the church before them. NEW: Disgruntled dump truck driver unloads trash onto the driveway of a client who allegedly refused to pay in San Pablo, California. Martin Perez, owner of Express Rental Dumpster, said the client rented one of his dumpster bins to dispose of trash at their home. Perez says there was an issue with the client's credit card before the client started ignoring him. "They [kept] saying, like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna pay later. I’m gonna pay later. I’m gonna pay later,’ and never did." Instead of paying out of his own pocket to have the trash dumped at the dump, Perez decided to just dump it all in the client's driveway.
