@pat_grab @CrimsonDesert_ Check your settings you may need to bump down your graphic details and up your upscaling. Update drivers for GPU, update your CPU, motherboard, ram, and very last part of mb update would be you bios if none of the other updates work.

@CrimsonDesert_ Can you fix your game? 5070ti 7800x3d and fking 45 fps. Also crashing almost every map/settings/skills open.

@ProudBavaria Agreed. Like I do enjoy the game but I play games for the emotionally deep investment in stories and character growth. In-depth cinematic narrative like BG3. And while the world itself is cool. The enemies get blanned and boring after a while. And so do the bosses.

Let's not retcon reality. Lore and worldbuilding are decent. But dialogue and quest-to-quest transition are the worst in all of modern gaming, haha!

@AkiraSoftFemboy I don’t know I find all bosses easy including enemies. I have just upgrade armor a few points and sword and shield a few points at smithy, as far as skill tree abyss artifacts only in stamina which stamina is up to 9. Everything else scanned and learned for tree. Easy game

@SynthPotato For a big chunk and any of the reviews even the ones that gave it good was still the terrible story/writing. I don’t see a patch fixing that.

Crimson Desert Steam Reviews have gone up from “mixed” to “Very Positive” with 80% of reviews now positive. It’s safe to say that the game that critics played and gave 6/10s and lower does not exist anymore as the insane speed of updates have already addressed the biggest issues

@SynthPotato I noticed that and just upped the contrast and that seemed to fix it for me

HDR in Crimson Desert seems to be bugged or badly implemented, at least on PS5. It gives the game a washed out, gray look and reduces colors across the board, highly recommend turning it off. OFF vs ON:

@Bucky_cm @CrimsonDesert_ It was a nice touch for me when I realized I had to get back to the bank and check investments. And still wanted to go back to the place I had gone deep in the map in where there was no fast travel point and now there was. So that was nice

@MHWildsAlert I don’t care about that scrap it and give the money to a different branch. Preferably the one that should be making Dragons Dogma 3 if capcom cares about its customers and player base.

Monster Hunter Wilds is getting a large-scale expansion similar to Iceborne. Series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto confirmed the news in an anniversary video, with more details coming this summer. New monsters, mechanics, story content, and a new map region could all be on the table.

@Junksterrr As far as keyboard and mouse and keyboard it’s close to like Witcher 3 and horizon zero dawn for me. The one that that absolutely annoyed/bummed me out. Taming a dragon is on a cooldown once that’s over you lose the dragon. It’s not a permanent mount that you get to keep.

Why is Crimson Desert so polarizing? I’m seeing most complaints on the story and controls. Did people really think they were getting a cinematic Witcher 3 style narrative? The controls are essentially 1:1 to RDR2 with the whole mash X to sprint and crouch with L3 and no one cared

@CrimsonDesert_ Ok I don’t care what you do but there is one thing you absolutely need to fix. Taming a dragon is on an effin cooldown and once that’s over you lose it! It’s not a permanent effin mount. That is some straight up BS! Fix this any mount you tame should be able to permanently summon

@JosiahRises Mouse and Keyboard are similar to most other action RPGs so no real issues with that for me. The controller is hot flaming sack of dog 💩 for this game.

Am I the only one who doesn't have any problems with the controls in Crimson Desert? They're very similar to RDR2 so I kind of got used to them quickly.

@CrimsonDesert_ Just wish it came with amazing draw you in story. Everything else was made over the top but the story was left uncooked bland and forgotten about. Action/Adventure can have good story Zelda, uncharted, Indian jones.. but not crimson desert for some reason. 😑

@SpawnYaardReply I play the game for the in-depth very rich story. The combat is second. Without major story that keeps you hooked with plot and plot twist it’s just another bland game. KCD,KCD2, Clair Obscure, BG3. They all have what video games have lost. Deep story driven narrative. AKA a soul

Had the pleasure of playing through early access a bit early. Highly recommend checking this one out today. MASSIVE improvements from the first game, and it's just the start of EA. Ben Starr, Devora Wilde, Amelia Tyler, Ellen Thomas (& the other VAs for this game) have clearly have made a big difference when it comes to presentation quality! Big shout-out to the Tac Adventures cinematic team too. One more game and you might match / surpass Larian in cinematics 👀
