Even in the cold, the learning continues.💪 Our Women’s ESL class at Belmont Park meets twice a week at the BEST office, and while winter brings smaller groups, it never stops the dedication. Headbands on, minds focused. So proud of these hardworking women!

The track may be quiet, but our work never stops. While the Spa rests, we’re preparing for what’s ahead, all while continuing to support the health and wellness of the backstretch community downstate. We can’t wait to see you in June!

Healthy Backstretch Workers = Successful Horse Racing. Behind every morning breeze and galloping horse is a dedicated workforce. BEST exists to ensure the 3,500+ workers we serve annually have the healthcare and wellness support they deserve.

2025 Impact: BEST provided 640 sessions of Substance Use Disorder support. January is Substance Use Disorder Treatment Month, but our work happens year-round because a healthy workforce = a safe track.🏇 Thank you to our donors and team for making these recovery stories possible!
