Last week I met with Giuseppe Ilarda, Giuseppe Barone and Gianfranco Barone, young residents who founded and run the Excelsior NY Athletic Club soccer league. I admire their mission to have individuals of all ages active in their sport and I look forward to working with them.

Last week, I had the chance of updating Community Board 5 members on the state budget negotiations, as well as join Community Board 9 members acknowledging the appreciated neighborhood efforts of Austin’s Ale House in Kew Gardens.
