@Y2Ksnurf @USA_Polling And should we base society primarily on "those who work". What of those who don't, or can't? I'm no individualist, but it seems like only transferring power from one interest group to another. Economic power? Maybe this is good. Political power? Not so sure.

@Y2Ksnurf @USA_Polling I do prefer more complicated participatory forms of government in the abstract. But I don't see syndicalism as necessarily incompatible with liberal democracy. Unless liberalism = capitalism, which i don't accept

@bengrossbg I think some of the problem is that Rawls is (often) taught as a sort of woke lefty figure because he's contrasted, somewhat rightly, to people like Nozick so there becomes a con/lib divide which really does not do Rawls much justice
