UK visa costs are some of the highest in the world. Reviewing and addressing these high costs is a necessary step in attracting and retaining international scientific talent.

The cost of visas for scientists at our research institutes is set to rise by 44% in a year. This will discourage scientists from coming to work in the UK and take vital funds away from our life-saving research.
