Major blunder by Himanta to repetitively call Kharge saab as “Pagal”. Kharge saab is India’s tallest Dalit leader, RS Leader of Opposition and Congress President. Himanta’s mindset has been exposed in the way he is behaving and calling names. He has landed BJP in deep trouble. Dalits across the country have heard their leader being called “Pagal” just because he spoke about Himanta’s corruption. Does Modi and Shah agree with Himanta’s words? Will they endorse his words against our Dalit leader when they campaign in Kerala, TN, Assam, Bengal? Himanta must apologies to Kharge saab and all Dalits. BJP must take action against their crass and corrupt CM.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma asking “Kaun hai Kharge?” and using street insults like “paagal” is deeply problematic and show how flabbergasted he is. Himanta must apologise for this deplorable conduct, for insulting one of the tallest leaders in our country who hails from the most humble backgrounds. We all know how rattled he is because of the grave corruption allegations against him, and how he leaves no stone unturned to use the most pathetic language to spread hatred. It is this mindset that we reject and we demand an unconditional apology from him for this statement.

The BJP’s anti-Dalit mindset has once again been exposed. The derogatory remarks made by the Chief Minister of Assam against Congress National President Sh. @kharge are not only condemnable, but also reflect the moral decline of the BJP. Sh. Kharge has had a public life spanning several decades, and the use of such low-level language against a leader of his stature is unacceptable in any civilized society. The Assam Chief Minister appears to be engaged in a constant race to prove his loyalty to his high command, which is why he repeatedly targets LoP Sh. @RahulGandhi & our other senior leaders from time to time. What is most unfortunate, however, is the silence of Prime Minister Modi ji. The Prime Minister should have strongly objected to such inappropriate conduct by his Chief Minister but his silence makes it clear that the insult of the Dalit community causes no discomfort to the BJP’s top leadership.

Such remarks reflect a deeply regressive mindset - rooted in the BJP-RSS’s Manuvadi thought and bigotry. It appears he has lost his balance - driven by fear of defeat in the upcoming elections and the prospect of facing jail in corruption cases, as made clear by Shri Rahul Gandhi. @himantabiswa must issue an unconditional apology to the nation and the Dalit community. Also, why is @narendramodi silent? Silence in the face of such insult is complicity. @INCIndia
