Every year college baseball has pop up dudes that very few people recruited out of high school. Pitchers that were average velocity dudes in high school with athleticism and quick arms that are now mid 9's. Undersized dudes out of high school that turned into all Americans and draft picks. Dudes that were underrated in high school that are now impact dudes in college. It's called recruiting the dudes that will continue to trend up. It's called recruiting makeup, work ethic, toughness and maturity. It's called recruiting the right kids.
