@CrownClubCLT Muggsy meant so much more to franchise. LJ / Kemba both worthy of consideration but not in front of #1. I would retire a jersey for the fans - we have stuck through a lot of bad basketball and at times had best crowds in NBA

Can someone explain why some 10 year old needs to travel hundreds of miles for competition that they almost certainly could have found locally? Travel leagues for youth sports should be banned.

Good leadership would make it happen.. Queens slipped my mind, so now its at least 8 venues in metro area. biggest thing is people making the decisions have to remember who they are supposed to serve. Charlotte is the perfect location but over the history of the NCHSAA they have always acted like Charlotte has the plague. Not having football championships here is even sillier.

@Coach_Rick57 its ultra weak and my team still can't win in it. Scattered mess of a league with no interest for fans. Outside of ECU/Charlotte - neither team has another interesting, exciting matchup. Wish there could be another version of Sunbelt type league.

To use a Biblical verse & parable that can be used today. "Fresh wine requires new, flexible wineskins to avoid bursting them." If a school AD is firing a head coach and providing the same NIL budget, then what are you doing? Fix the NIL budget first and give them the opportunity to be competitive and successful

UNCG has hired former Stanford and UAB head coach Jerod Haase, source told @thefieldof68. Haase has agreed to a 5-year deal, per source. 

Haase, 51, was 126-127 in eight seasons at Stanford (2016-24). He was 80-53 in four seasons at UAB (2012-16) - including an NCAA tourney appearance in 2015. 

UNCG athletic director Brian Mackin hired Haase when he was the AD at UAB.

@Coach_Rick57 of course, but my comments are kids leave the area following high school, go to a bigger school, it doesn't work out,, charlotte should be in line to be able to bring some of those kids back for their second or third attempt at success in college.

I won't spoil the content/announcement that @DirtyMoMedia has ready for this next weeks guest on the DaleJrDownload. But, I was just going over the notes and can't contain my excitement. This person is not involved in NASCAR. They were a heavyweight in another industry and I admired this person a great deal as a child. I've never met them, and it's going to be a blast to finally do so. I can't wait to ask one of my childhood hero's about his life and experiences this coming week. Hope you'll check it out.

A spokesperson for the Mecklenburg County Health Department says they are aware of the viral video showing questionable transportation of the raw meat. But a location wasn't named in the clip so they don't know where it is. Anyone with info is asked to call 311 so an inspector can investigate.

There’s a larger discussion that isn’t being talked about from the Luke Combs sound bite. Luke is our most prominent Alumni, why is our current Athletics Department not doing more to have him be an advocate for the program? All this bad PR is so unnecessary.

or hire county AD's that actually enforce the rules that are sitting right in front of them..... that might work to. We used to teach integrity, honor and honesty inside the schools, hard to do when the 6 figure employees don't subscribe to that. I don't blame the coaches. If I were an AD hiring a coach right now, I hire the best recruiter I can find
