The Mariners are great on paper. But their starting rotation is filled with injury risk: Bryan Woo, Logan Gilbert, George Kirby, and Bryce Miller have all had issues. Their current SP6 is Emerson Hancock. If 2+ of those SPs go down, they're in big trouble.

@JeffPassan Dodgers unique tv deal allows them to generate $334M in local tv revenue. Second highest is the Yankees at $160M. If I'm a big-market owner, that's what I'm upset about. Omitting this from what is a great read feels misleading.

@MLB Their studs were studs 5 yrs ago, their young guys are good not great & that rotation is an 8/10 if it stays healthy ... 6/10 if not. Was surprised they didnt make more moves this offseason. Hopefully we'll see them return to form. A competitive Yankee team is good for baseball
