In case anyone is confused - this isn't true. David Hann's candidacy is a joke. Delegates literally laughed when he got one vote in a straw poll. It's more accurate to say that these are the book-end candidates - Tafoya probably at the top and Hann at the very, very bottom.

Transparency is at the heart of this campaign — because you deserve to know exactly what's happening in your government. The House Fraud Committee released the results of the independent Optum audit — but the Walz Administration redacted a staggering 90% of the report. This is unacceptable. The Legislature is the only real check on this administration’s fraud oversight, and they must be kept fully in the loop. True transparency means consistency. That’s why I also believe the Epstein files must be released fully and unredacted. I won’t have direct control over them as a State Representative, but I will use my platform to demand justice for the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein. I don't know who needs to hear this but Tim Walz and every statewide DEM in MN would/will be winning statewide this year. This is not an environment for a "red Minnesota."

As the Minnesota House convenes for the 2026 session, we pause to remember Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, senselessly taken by political violence last June. May her memory inspire us to serve with integrity and reject violence in all forms. Time to get to work for Minnesotans.

Caucus was a success! I was impressed by how many people made it to caucus for the first time ever. Thanks to @SD41GOP for running a great caucus night! Every caucus location got to vote in the gubernatorial straw poll. I included the results from that statewide poll here. It looks like Lisa Demuth, Kendall Qualls, and Mike Lindell are the frontrunners for the Republican endorsement.

A man showed up drunk to Cottage Grove Elementary School today with a butcher knife. Thankfully, he never made it inside the school. Throw the book at this guy!
