35 yrs ago today, Tornado ZD791 (with me & JP) took a SAM up the jacksie & went down in flames. Next 7 weeks veered from terrifying, near-death experiences to staggeringly funny events. The following 35 yrs have been a blast with my 20th book BLITZ out in May - who'd a thunk it!

@JennyCumbria @vickyinatutu Jenny that is a great question and one which probably has many solutions. I and this is just my opinion is that a block of 6 to 7 weeks in summer is no longer required. Could this be split over the year? I always found summer childcare a nightmare, especially as a shift worker

Day 345332 of the school holidays: We’ve done everything. We’ve been everywhere. I’m haemorrhaging money at an alarming rate. My child has told me she’s bored approximately six thousand times. We need to start making these things shorter because no one is benefitting from this.

@JessicaSpara No shame in crying. I retired from the police last year and I still get triggers about 2 particular incidents. They will always haunt me. Just know you have friends, both virtually and in reality

Had a job last night that triggered a lot of emotions about my grandmas death. Happens sometimes but last night was particularly bad. Cried the whole way home. Wish I could’ve rang her up & she’d say “how are you my fine friend”. Grief is odd.

At the start of this year, I was suicidal. I had no desire to live anymore, could feel no joy or happiness. I’m so glad I fought my demons, because this year is turning out to be beautiful, and I’m very happy to be here ❤️
